Room in shared flat, Javastraat :)

Hi everybody😊 I just signed a contract for a lovely apartment in Javastraat (Oost) and am looking for a roommate for the months of June to November (01.06.2026 - 30.11.2026), registration is possible! You would be moving into a furnished 11m² room. The full apartment is 55m² and hosts a kitchen, a super nice balcony as well as a living room (facing south) which is split into a living room area open for common use with a big sofa and a second area that will be devided by a shelf and curtains to create a second bedroom for me. Javastraat is really one of the nicest streets of the city; well located and in the middle of the lively and beautiful Amsterdam Oost! About me: My name is Gregor, originally from Berlin, doing my masters in physics at the UvA. I like to read or craft but spend most of my time outside, in cafés or going climbing. I am also interested in architecture as well as interior design and am very excited to make the place look cozy (in agreement and colaboration with you of course ;) ). It's important to me that we create a nice living environment where we both do our things but also have a chat or a coffee from time to time. About the financials: The rent would be 1250€ excluding utilities and taxes (I pay the same amount btw.). Additionally, you would need to pay a deposit of another 1250€ that will be paid back at the end of the contract period. We can apply for Huurtoeslag from July onwards which will probably lower the rent by 200€ per person (depending a bit on your financial situation). I am looking for a person between 20 and 35 that is easy going, social and good at communicating. It’s important to me that we work together to keep the place clean and tidy 😇 Does this sounds good?
